Materials
- clear school glue (4 oz bottle, 2)
- borax powder (1 tsp)
- warm water (1 cup)
- food coloring (3 different colors, 2 drops each)
- shaving cream (1 cup)
- contact lens solution containing boric acid (1 tbsp)

Steps
- Prepare the activator solution by mixing 1 teaspoon of borax powder into 1 cup of warm water; stir until completely dissolved.
- To make Basic Clear Slime: Pour one 4 oz bottle of clear glue into a mixing bowl.
- Add 2 drops of food coloring to the glue and stir until the color is even.
- Slowly add the borax activator solution one tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly until the slime begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
- To make Fluffy Slime: Pour the second 4 oz bottle of glue into a separate bowl.
- Fold in 1 cup of shaving cream and 2 drops of a different food coloring until the mixture is light and airy.
- Add the contact lens solution (1 tbsp) and stir vigorously until the mixture becomes a cohesive, stretchy ball.
- Knead both types of slime with your hands for 2-3 minutes to reach the perfect consistency.
