Steps

  1. Place your hand flat on a piece of paper with your fingers spread apart.

  3. Using a marker, carefully trace the entire outline of your hand and wrist.

  5. To make an elephant: Use the thumb as the trunk and the other four fingers as the legs. Draw an eye and a large ear near the palm area.

  7. To make a bunny: Use the middle and ring fingers as the long ears. Draw a small fluffy tail and a cute nose on the palm area.

  9. To make a giraffe: Use the handprint vertically, with the fingers acting as the neck and head. Draw small horns and a long neck extending from the wrist.
  10. Draw neck Head Wrist Turn your handprint vertically to draw a tall giraffe
  11. Use your colored pencils or crayons to fill in your animals with bright colors.
  12. Add a background, like grass or trees, to give your animals a home!
