Easy No-Cook Playdough
Create your own squishy, colorful playdough using simple kitchen ingredients. This version requires no heat and no cream of tartar, making it a fast and fun sensory activity!

Materials
- all-purpose flour (2 cups)
- salt (1/2 cup)
- water (1 cup)
- vegetable oil (2 tbsp)
- food coloring (2-3 drops per batch)

Steps
- Pour 2 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of salt into the large mixing bowl.
- Stir the flour and salt together with a spoon until they are well combined.
- In a separate small container, mix 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and your chosen food coloring.
- Slowly pour the colored water mixture into the bowl of flour and salt.
- Stir the mixture with the spoon until a dough begins to form and it becomes too thick to stir.
- Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it with your hands, squeezing and folding it repeatedly until it is smooth and stretchy.
- If the dough is too sticky, add a pinch more flour. If it is too dry, add a tiny bit more water.
- Store the finished playdough in an airtight container to keep it fresh for next time.
