Steps
- Pour 1 cup of liquid dish soap into your large mixing container.
- Add 1 heaping tablespoon of guar gum and 1 tablespoon of baking powder to the soap.
- Mix the soap, guar gum, and baking powder together until well incorporated.
- Slowly stir in 16 cups of water and whisk the mixture to remove any lumps.
- To build the wand, tie one end of the cotton string securely to the end of the first stick.
- Thread the metal washer onto the string to provide weight at the bottom of the loop.
- Loop the string twice around the end of the second stick and tie a secure knot.
- Lay the wand flat to form a triangle shape with the washer at the bottom point, then tie the two ends of the string together to close the loop.
- To make a bubble, hold the two sticks together and slowly lower the string loop into the bubble solution until it is fully saturated.
- Lift the wand out while keeping the handles together, then slowly pull the sticks apart to create a giant bubble.
